It’s creative Saturday

This morning my husband and I took Timothy to a sensory class which was happening free but you had to register your attendance.

It was a fantastic class which was full of performance, song, music, sensory play and a whole lot of enthusiasm and passion from the teachers who ran the class.

Timothy was a little young still for the class however with that being said it did include elements which he was able to engage with properly.
The room where the class took place had been wonderfully decorated.

We also adventured into another part of the room which was completely white and a harp was played as we transitioned into this space which was really beautiful that they would incorporate such an instrument into the magical performance.

This class had clearly been well planned and amazingly delivered, it was actually very surprising just how incredible the whole experience was.

It is so wonderful that we have these incredible opportunity to immerse Timothy in.  It really is fantastic as a parent that such companies and organisations exist, giving up their time to provide these experiences.

A Very Happy Saturday Friends!

My Little Pin Cushion

Today Timothy had his next set of injections well to be exact he had four!

My husband came with me to the Doctors surgery as I just don’t do injections at all.  Timothy was already not feeling well and as we waited for our appointment he slept in his Daddy’s arms.

The injection’s consisted of two in one leg and one in the other followed by one in the arm.  Our poor little pin cushion.  I couldn’t look, my husband had to hold Timothy it was horrible.

So after this horrendous ordeal we went out to a newly open Chinese restaurant for a very late lunch.  Timothy had mixed emotions over lunch.

Playing on the table seemed fun before the food arrived.

Try some of the chicken from my noodle soup seemed positive.

The food was absolutely delicious.

We ordered a bottle of water and had this massive bottle arrive at the table.

I wasn’t impressed how half way through my meal I realised that only the Oriental customers were given chop sticks so I asked for chop sticks and showed them that actually I have impressive chop stick skills.  I think that’s a little presumptuous on behalf of the restaurant because if that would of been a ‘English’ restaurant I’m sure they would of been in trouble for such cutlery stereotypes.

After lunch my husband went to collect the car and I walked back home to give Timothy the opportunity to sleep which as we nearly arrived home he drifted off.

Now this evening my little pin cushion is down for the night but I’ll most defiantly be seeing him at various intervals…Please sleep well for Mummy little pin cushion.

Happy Thursday Friends!

Happy hour

My husband and I are very nearly celebrating our wedding anniversary which is exciting.  My mum wanted to look after our beautiful baby boy so we could have a meal alone.  I wasn’t very keen on the idea however with a busy social events calendar and with my husband’s work commitments we had a happy hour, well it was more like 45 minutes but who’s counting?
I have only left Timothy a handful of times, with my husband that is and I probably could count them all on a hand and a half.

Instructions were given to my mum.

  1. Any disaster for example a bomb take Timothy straight back home
  2. If Timothy is hurt or I’ll call me

I think that two instruments plus a whole big changing bag and a bottle of expressed milk was organised and fitting for any eventuality.

My husband and I went to a little cafe a sort of a hidden gem which I’d once walked past during an event in the city.

I had a hot chocolate and a piece of cake.

My husband and I had a nice time spent together in each others company during day hours out and about, a treat for our up coming anniversary.

Spending time with my husband was very lovely.  Being reunited with Timothy once again was a real joy which must be how my husband feels each evening when he comes back home to Timothy.

Happy Thursday Friends!

Sick Bay Sensory

The local university Baby Lab where Timothy has been on a few occasions have open play mornings on the first Saturday of each months.  Timothy and I have never before been to one of the open play morning but decided that we would attend due to the fact that a taster Baby Sensory class would be taking place.

Before we even left for the university Timothy and my husband were feeling pretty sorry for themselves.

dscn15301¬†However this didn’t stop me from taking everyone along for the ride.

Timothy before the Baby Sensory session began seemed to enjoy the ball pool, I had to get in with him as he didn’t seem very convinced at first that the ball pool is actually fun.

The Baby Sensory was great however I think I was sat next to the most grumpy two in the room.

This unwell duo by the end of the Baby Sensory session seemed to perk up a little.

We had such a fantastic time or at least I did that I have signed Timothy up to the Baby Sensory Winter term.

Happy Saturday Friends!

Happy birthday in the rain

Today my wonderful husband celebrated his first birthday as a Daddy and a very fine job is he doing as a parent.

To celebrate we decided we would go for a walk and lunch with Tinkerbell and Timothy however the heavens opened causing surface water and lots of it and our plans suddenly changed.

My husband decided that we would take a trip to the Trafford centre which was the first of a couple locations we visited on our first ever date.  My husband decided that he was also visit the library to return and take out soon more books for work.

I decided that it made sense to visit the library first and it took an extremely long time because of the volume of traffic and road diversion that after the library our plans changed and we visited Wimslow Road the Asian part of Manchester which was were we ended our first date!

Apart from a crazy man who appeared to be the local idiot who threw something at our car when we parked up and then stood near where we sat to eat at one of the road side cafes.

My husband’s birthday was a lovely time for the Karma family to be together.  Tinkerbell sat under the pram and Timothy enjoyed being the centre of the celebrations along with his caterpillar Carlos.

After lunch and after the stalker had left walking over the road and began bothering two men stood outside a restaurant and after a second crazy man arriving and leaving we went to a sweet shop a couple of doors down for dessert.

This is such a cute picture I didn’t realise until after my husband took it that it appears as if Timothy is drinking from the straw.

So a beautiful day was had by all.

A very happy birthday to my wonderful husband, I’m so thankful that he is in my life and that we have the most a amazing job of being parents to a very lovely baby boy and owners of the most fabulous hound around.

Happy Monday Friends!

Under supervision

Timothy and I enjoyed our rhyming time at the library this morning I was disappointed that our favourite song Little Peter Rabbit wasn’t sung.  I wasn’t fond of the wet walk back but around 12 minutes in the rain wasn’t really anything to complain about.  Timothy lay in his pram snug as a bug in a rug with his rain cover over protecting him from the elements.

After lunch with my lovely husband and playtime for Timothy my husband went for a meeting.  With Timothy asleep I decided to tidy some paperwork and then feed there once sleeping baby who then decide to fall asleep this time in my arms and that is where he stay for over an hour and a half.

After our evening meal I decided to request the help of my husband and rearrange our living room.  Under the supervision of Timothy I had my husband move the furniture into its new positions.

I’m very pleased with the new layout.  The suggestion my husband had given a couple days which have me a push to ago ahead and rearrange was to allow the radiator to be exposed and not hidden behind the furniture.

Tinkerbell seemed very content with her hidden location of her bed and toys.

With Timothy tucked up asleep I’m sat watching the baby monitor along with Tinkerbell. .

Happy Friday Friends!

40 Days – Day 39

After a lovely day shared with my Mum and Dad a lovely walk, lunch and hot chocolate it was just brilliant.  Timothy enjoyed very much spending time with his grandparents giving them lots of smiles.

After Timothy’s bedtime story I changed him and feed him after feeding him and putting him in his Moses basket I found this.

Day 39.  Firstly I’m thankful for the wonderful day I shared with my family and secondly thankful that my husband has a fun side!  He laid his pyjamas out over the top of Tinkerbell which gave the impression she was wearing them!  After I had put Timothy in his basket I realised this and thought it was excellent.

Happy Saturday Friends!

40 Days – Day 29

I’ve just enjoyed a home made banana milkshake and now I’m walking on my treadmill in our home gym.  I’m feeling thankful about so many things my life is blessed.

Day 29.  I’m thankful for my body.  I walk into town pushing Timothy in his pram I even pick up speed to a slight jog as I go down the hill to his favourite baby group primarily so were not late but it’s fun.  We enjoy the group and are blessed by the communion service we attend with friends.  I’m thankful for friendship and for Church Life.  We walk back up the steep hill I’m again thankful I have the strength to push the pram.  I carry Timothy in his Baby carrier to be weighed down a steep hill and back again I’m thankful for my baby.  I cuddle my beautiful dog Tinkerbell I’m thankful for her affection.  My husband thanks me for dinner it’s yesterday’s leftover’s from the meal we shared with a few friends and family I’m thankful I have a husband who loves me.

I’m thankful for my life I’ve been blessed with.

Happy Wednesday Friends!

40 Days – Day 8

Day 8.  I’m thankful for family cuddles and hugs.

As Timothy sat in his TV chair not in front of the television but next to the dinner table as we ate.  Timothy sat contently looking sweet as always.  After eating I sat down next to him shortly followed by Tinkerbell…

…then lastly my husband when I asked him to join the family hug.

It’s amazing how over 30 minutes can pass when your enjoying each other’s company.

Happy Wednesday Friends!

40 Days – Day 5

With today being Valentines Day it’s obvious what I’m thankful for, or atleast it should be.

Day 5.  I’m thankful for my lovely husband.  He’s not perfect and neither am I but he’s perfect for me and I truly love him do much.  I’m greatful that we are married and have a fabulous life together including a gorgeous puppy Tinkerbell and a precious son Timothy.

I adore this photograph taken when Timothy was still on his first size clothes.
