Who realised that an English town would hold a Christmas Tree Festival!? It seems rather an American concept, nevertheless today we set off to visit.
The Christmas Tree Festival was held in a beautiful Church which I think was over 250 years old which was holiday a Christmas Tree Festival.
Timothy dressed in festival flair was cruelly woken from his sleep as I didn’t want him to miss the festivities.
The Church had a number of trees which had each been decorated by various groups or charities such as the local WI, brownies and rainbows, slimming world and schools.
My favorite was the nativity Christmas tree.
This book tree made me think of my husband and his love of reading.
Some of the Christmas trees were more contempory while others elaborate but it really was a fantastic show case of talent and a fun way to catalogue what happens in this town.
The Church had a steady stream of individuals and families who had come out to view the trees.
I’m unsure if this is an annual affair but if it is this I think will be a Karma family tradition.
Happy Saturday Friends!
