Tears and napping

Timothy and I are currently unwell, definitely not good times. Timothy caught a virus and decided to pass it on to me, thank you Timothy. So my lovely husband has been caring for us since the beginning of the week and my mum and dad came today while my husband was back in the office.

This week we have missed out on so many activities including Timothy’s dance class, baby sensory and a Christmas themed afternoon tea that I was going to host.

However even before I took ill I had decided when Timothy showed symptoms of the virus that we wouldn’t unnecessarily put others in a position where they were likely to become unwell. Therefore we have been enjoying the home comforts of the Karma residence and also for the simple fact that we have actually been feeling that doing any outdoor activity would be like running a marathon.

Our week so far has been filled with tears, napping and eating very little and in Timothy’s case eating nothing. Not that Timothy eats a lot but we try to encourage him to eat something each meal at the table. A normal breakfast is a tiny pot of mashed banana which has just not been happening, our poor little chap.

I managed to eat my first mince pie of the year which my mum and dad brought. It was extremely festive but not the easiest food to eat with a sore mouth and throat.

Timothy and I on a normal week enjoy many wonderful walks many with Tinkerbell safely housed under the pram. Today walking to the outside wheelie bin was an effort. The weather has turned so cold how will we manage when we are both back in action to enjoy our walks in these arctic temperatures.

One little lady, I won’t say her name…. Tinkerbell… has taken advantage of an unwell mummy and baby duo. No having to stay in her cage while to go to Timothy’s classes or other activity which hounds can’t go such as the swimming pool. Oh yes this hound has been like a dog with a bone. 24/7 attention.

Happy Thursday Friends!
