A new home

I have wanted a little book shelf for the nursery for a little while now.  Timothy has an ever growing collection of books and having somewhere to house them really was needed.

Thankfully we have now a solution to the book dilemma.  This week on my Mum and Dads weekly visit they kindly brought with them a bookshelf that had been used in their home office but no longer wanted and were happy for it to find a new home in the Karma residence.

The bookshelf in itself is not that interesting, tall, thin and practical however it really is amazing how adding something rather insignificant into a room has really helped to transform the nursery completely.

Yesterday evening as I sat feeding Timothy in his nursery I thought how wonderful it looked.  From a piece of furniture which my Mum and Dad were no longer required it has perfectly found a new home here.  I think sometimes we get worried about moving items from our home out of our home, instead we should appreciate that for a period of time they were required or needed but time can pass and rather than becoming a hoarder allow someone else to love your once loved items.

Happy Friday Friends!
