Dicing with death

At the beginning of the week we took a Karma Family trip to the sunny sea side.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely Subway overlooking the beautiful sea before deciding to take a lovely walk along the pier.

As if we were reenacting the promenading which would of taken place no doubt in the Victorian era we sauntered along the pier my husband pushing the pram and I walking beside.

DSCN0856[1]We had walked over half the way out if not more along the pier when I felt the wooden planks under my feet which the pier was made of move.

Well I’m no Olympic swimmer and what followed next was the 2016 Titanic special were I grabbed the pram did a very swift 180 degrees turn and began to do a trolley dash along the pier back to the edge of the sea.  My poor husband following closely behind not because he was worried about the water or the pier crumbling beneath our feet but as an old lady and gentleman jumped out of the path as the pram flow past to safety.

The ice cream I had once reaching dry land made me feel better.

I had thought the other day after watching an advert for a cruse that it would be nice to take one, almost like the time I really wanted to join the circus.  My sister in regards to the circus crushed my dreams when she asked me what I would do performance wise if I joined which I didn’t think about.  Like wise with the cruise idea it was only after the pier incident that I released that taking a cruise would be a terrible idea.

Happy Friday Friends!
