This morning Timothy and I accompanied one of our friends for a medical appointment as she was having an injection. My lovely friend told me that I was the last person she had asked. This wasn’t that she didn’t want me to attend it’s because I’m extremely frightened of needles.
We arrived at the appointment and were called into a small room Timothy sat in his pram watching extremely quietly at one side of the room while my friend and I sat at the other.
I’m not sure about my friend but I had to apologise for my hands as they began to feel very sticky as I’m sat waiting for the moment we need to hold hands in preparation for the injection.
The time came we held hands and both faced the other direction and waited until it was all over. I was especially relieved to have the appointment over and done I managed and I wasn’t the one having the injection!
A drink and brief catch up after the appointment was a lovely way to end such an ordeal.
Happy Thursday Friends!
