No Salad Time

This morning as my husband left for his office I had said that I would bring him a salad to have with his lunch.  I had already cut him up an avocado and tomato however told him that after a brief visit with a friend and going food shopping I’d come over.

I arrived at my friends house mid morning I enjoyed a lovely peppermint tea and her wonderful company it was only when I received a phone call from my husband after 12:30pm did I realise how much time had a lapsed.  I then realised that it was lunch time and my husband was salad-less.

My lovely friend invited me to join her for lunch which I did and a couple more hours later which really did seem like minutes did I rather reluctantly pull myself away as I was aware that I still needed to do a little food shop and make sure that I had dinner ready for my husband and get back home to Tinkerbell.

After my mini food shop I returned home to a beautiful surprise a late baby shower gift which I wasn’t at all expecting but very excited about.

A lovely dachshund scarf which I can’t wait to wear think I’ll be wearing this tomorrow and the most adorable shoes which I look forward for our baby boy putting on his tiny feet when he arrives.  Another very thoughtful and kind gift from a very thoughtful and kind family.

Happy Tuesday Friends!  🎄
