Tinkerbell gets in to a great deal of different establishments. Sometimes she goes in undercover in her carrier and other times she arrives in my arms. Most people will normally make allowance for such a tiny dog even if they say no dogs.
Tinkerbell used to be a regular visitor to our local co-operative shop where we used to live I would carry her in and nobody had a problem at all.
If you are a regular reader of my blog you will realise that Tinkerbell has visited a steak house and we were allowed to bring her in. Sainsburys on occasions and Betty’s Tea Room which she went in under cover and was as good as gold and no one realised.
Tinkerbell also regularly attends Church she’s attended a number of different Church services over the years she’s been a regular of our previous Church before we moved areas, Seven Oaks and Wales (a number of different Churches) are those which I can remember but very possible more. People are always rather welcoming of Tinkerbell and no one has ever turned us away…Until yesterday.
Yesterday we were with a group of friends for a event in the City. Tinkerbell was unable to gain access to the castle, I think the security officer felt intimidated by her so we said to our friends that we would visit the Church and meet up shortly.
When we arrived at the Churches door with Tinkerbell in my arms wearing her little jumper with coat on top for extra warmth there was a boy selling poppy’s wearing his cadets uniform and said that we dogs weren’t allowed in. We just turned around and left.
I was very disappointed that we had been stopped from going into the Church, not pleased at all. After all its Gods house and I know that God loves all his creation and Tinkerbell would have been no trouble being carried.
Thankfully my husband would never refuse Tinkerbell entry to our Church, after all she is the office angel.
Happy Saturday Friends!
