Romanesco

Today I visited the supermarket Booths and came across the most exciting vegetable I have possible ever seen a romanesco cauliflower.  I was completely surprised to see such an unusual looking vegetable that I had to buy one and for only 75p each for an organic British vegetable I wasn’t going to let that deal of the day pass me by.

Booths give all customers a free take-a-way drink I thought it was a choice between tea or coffee however they even have the option of Cadbury hot chocolate, I’m sure you can guess what I chose to enjoy after my shop.

Once home I enjoyed lunch with my favourite little girl Tinkerbell and began to look through my House Beautiful magazine in the comfort of our airy basement room on figuring out how to control this level of the houses heating system.

After lunch I decided to make a strawberry milkshake rather than buying one which is full of other ingredients such as beetroot colouring and E numbers.

My strawberry milkshake consisted of milk, strawberries and a little sugar and tasted delicious.

Thankfully I have enough strawberries to make another milkshake in the next couple of days.

Happy Thursday Friends!
