£1 to finish the job

Today I finally finished my sisters wedding invitations!  Yesterday I bought a pack of three fine line pens for £1 from The Works on the recommendation of the friend who was with me.

My sister had specified that the wedding invitation had black ink outline and I therefore wanted to use an ink other than Biro for the illustrations and wording.

Thankfully I took the advice of my friend and bought the pens which worked perfectly excellent value for money.  Of course before using them on the pencil drawn outline I did test on a piece of the same type of paper first.

I also tried the colours first before actually using them onto the invitation, even though my sister had stipulated the colours she required for certain illustrated parts.

Sadly I’m unable to share with you the finished invitation until they have been sent to the printers and posted out however I can say that they are nothing like the invitations I had designed and printed when my husband and I married but they are extremely lovely, very personal and perfect for my sisters theme.

Happy Friday Friends!
