Tinkerbell Update

No news is often good news and that’s where the Karma family are up to at the moment with Tinkerbell her back and her little back legs that don’t walk.

Tinkerbell Is still continuing her crate rest as instructed by the vet, naturally she doesn’t spend all her time by any means in a crate but she is confined to her bed.  This isn’t particularly difficult as Tinkerbell enjoys napping and is unable to walk using her back legs.

Her legs are getting stronger this can be especially noticed when I or my husband performs a little physical movement with them to stimulate the flow of blood and to encourage her to move them independently.

This morning Tinkerbell attended Church in her little carrier and sat silently through the service.

Due to no walks and only visiting outside for assisted toileting Tinkerbell’s nails have become a little longer than usual and she decided to give herself a manicure and pedicure.  I instead decided to bring out the dreaded nail clippers and assist.

Tinkerbell has an appointment with the back specialist at the end of August we are praying and continuing to do all we can in hopes that she will recover without surgical intervention.

Happy Sunday Friends!
