Just another day

This morning Tinkerbell joined me whilst I visited a couple of shops.

Firstly we went to Dunelm Mill to up some fabric and then onto Next to collect the trousers we ordered at the weekend followed by Home Base where we bought a couple of items and used our 15% discount as new to the area customers!

Tinkerbell even being at the moment out of action she travels extremely well.  When she isn’t in her little carrier she’s in my arms causing a real stir.

The fabric from Dunelm Mill we used to add a section onto the curtains we had made 5 years ago.

The curtains in our new bedroom where a touch to short and because the fabric is no longer available we had to pick a matching colour.  When returning home we made two panels for each side which when the curtains are open work extremely well.

I also put up the curtain pole and thin curtains I had bought at Home Base in the office/second guest room.

I selected a curtain pole which was dainty to compliment the size of the window and the light weight fabric.  The new curtain pile matches with the other curtain poles in the house, I especially like when items match.  This is one thing that the previous owners didn’t seem to bother about.  Now it’s our home I’m putting my stamp on it!

After a busy day Tinkerbell is fast asleep with her little toy sheep, Shamas.

Happy Wednesday Friends!
