As an embroidery graduate receiving a magazine through the post called Stitch was very exciting.  My husband looked at this magazine for a moment before  breaking the news that it wasn’t ours it was addressed to the previous owners.  I was a little disappointed however my husband said it should be fine allowed to look at it first before sending it on!

The magazine was good not particularly in its content but the inspiration it gave me to begin my own project.

With one very unwell puppy on crate rest due to a back issue and little legs not able to move we were both sat in the hall as we looked at the Stitch magazine.

After putting the borrowed magazine back in the plastic packaging I took the fabric which I had set aside in the basement room for a project and a little more fabric, wool and cotton.

Using inspiration from my university days of the Austrian countryside  I began hand stitching a little fence.

Thank you Royal Mail for failing to redirect properly the pervious owners post.

Happy Thursday Friends!
