The Stork Sunday

Today my Mum and Dad joined us after their Church service and ours for lunch.  We drove only a couple of minutes in the car to a country pub, our previous home was in a very urban area and to drive to a country pub would of taken much, much longer.

The pub called The Stork served a mixture of traditional pup food, other exciting meals and a large selection of South African dishes.

The menu included bobotie which I often make, which I believe is a very popular dish in South Africa.

My husband opted for a South African platter, while I decided to have the small traditional fish and chips.

After a very tasty lunch my Mum offered to help tidy the back garden.  My Mum removed weeds a job I really dislike this motivated me to cut away plants and tided around the tiny water feature.

My raspberry plant is settling well into it’s new home in the Karma garden after being uprooted from our previous house.

I’m very pleased that my Mum suggested  spot of gardening as it was nice working together outside in this tiny Eden.

Happy Sunday Friends!
