With one box of things a suitcase and clothes to hang in the wardrobe before Church this morning I decided that I would used Martha Stewart’s advice I once came across in her book Simple Home Solutions.
Page 72 at the top of the page explains about how to remove carpet ghosts.
For the past 5 years we have had no carpet in our house instead original wooden floors which I just loved. However since Wednesday our new house has carpets and in certain rooms such as our bedroom the previous owners furniture has left indentations in the carpet.
Martha Stewart’s advice to eliminate these carpet ghosts is by placing ice cubes directly onto the offending area and the carpet fibres will absorb the water. This should then be followed by vacuuming the carpet, the stage I haven’t yet done.
The ice definitely does work and when I’ve iced all the carpet ghosts and vacuumed I will share the results.
A useful tip now I have carpet, thank you Martha.
Happy Sunday Friends!
