Stop Gap

On Wednesday I shared how I had downloaded a couple of home organisation apps.  However after spending time thinking about these apps and then remembering the time when I had decided to use my online diary then opted back to my filofax I realised that online app organisation wouldn’t be my solution.

I took a trip to Staples and couldn’t find what I was looking for and instead came away with some of the Martha Stewart line which had been discontinued and was being sold for next to nothing and by one get one free!  A grand total of £3.20!

I looked online for organisers/home management diary’s but couldn’t seem to find any UK based companies that made what I was looking for.  What i wonder is it only American companies who care about people getting organised, surly not.

So I decided that I would make some small task cards, not exhaustive by any measure of all the jobs/tasks I’d need to do especially for when we move house.

The activities include jobs such as Ironing, Clean the bathroom and Food shopping.  Obviously the list doesn’t stop after the ones I’ve made but I decided that it would help me organise my time effectively if I could see the tasks that I needed to complete on each day.

I just need to laminate these and cut them out so that I can see if these would work in our new house.

This little basic idea is I’m hoping a stop gap until I find a paper organisation, home management planner.

Happy Friday Friends!
