I enjoy cooking very much so does my husband even though he doesn’t get as much opportunity to experiment in the kitchen as he would like we both enjoy putting together a delicious meal.
As much as we enjoy home cooking, going out to eat is always a tasty activity. We enjoy trying different countries signature dishes and tend to enjoy dinning out at the weekend normally on a Saturday.
This evening we decided to go out to eat a nearby restaurant serving Asian food called Alok. We have visited this restaurant on three occasions previous which is odd as we rarely go to the same restaurant.
At Alok Sunday to Thursday they offer a 4 course meal. It isn’t a proper 4 course meal by western understanding but for £9.95 you get:
1. Poppadoms and chutney tray
2. Any starter from the menu except fish
3. Any main from the menu except fish
4. Rice or Nan
Even though it’s not an English 4 course the price is very reasonable for an evening meal.
Often eating out in the week isn’t always practical however it’s definitely something to consider especially when restaurants often serve the identical dishes for less because it’s during the week when most people won’t eat out and it’s a strategy to get business.
Eating out during the week probably won’t become a habit for the Karma family at the moment however most definitely worth considering especially if a good deal is involved.
Happy Tuesday Friends!
