At the beginning of the week we had another appointment at the bank, I’ve never visited the bank so much in about 5 years.  After the appointment we noticed a Polish supermarket and decided to pay a visit.  We bought a few items the granola is a favourite of mine and we have had these or similar teas before the pastry style cakes were incredible tasty…

… This evening I tried the packet of Sernik, not at all sure what it is but on the front of the packet there is a picture of a cherry and it tasted of that flavour.

As with nearly all of the food packaging in this shop the instructions were in Polish so I had to use the helpful picture instructions as a clue to the preparation of this delicious dessert.

100ml of milk into a cup followed by the contents of the packet mix and leave for 3 – 5 minutes.

The mixture is then ready for consumption.

The cherry milk dessert was enjoyable however the amount that the packet contents made was just to right amount any more and I don’t think I would of wanted to finish it.

Would I want to get this a again?  Probable not as it wasn’t anything extra ordinary and even though it was nice to eat it isn’t a new favourite dessert.

One thing we do enjoy is trying something new…and try we did.

Happy Wednesday Friends!
