Enriching the adventure

On Saturday I shared in my blog about our meal at Miller and Carter.  We stumbled across the steakhouse restaurant on a drive we took on Saturday.

My husband and I had left the house with Tinkerbell on Saturday with the intention of driving somewhere new and have lunch in the country side.  My husband and I didn’t use the Sat Nav (however we did on the way home) we didn’t have any idea which way to go we drove past two perfectly lovely looking restaurants one where we missed the turning and the other was the other side of the road and central barriers prevented us from crossing the road.

Sometimes life can be filled with missed opportunities or opportunities which are closed to us.  It can feel disheartening when we seem to never get that opportunity always trying to find what it is that we search for but nothing ever seeming to work out.

Taking a chance and trusting that the failures and disappointments will only enrich the adventure and when the destination is reached know that it is only a small point on a large journey.

My husband and I had a wonderful meal one of the best we have ever had, I’m very thankful that we didn’t go to the other restaurants we passed because if we did we would of missed a fabulous meal and not even realised it.

The destination is incredible but the journey is what those who travel it will be changed by and only then will the destination taste sweeter.

Happy Monday Friends!
