Strong pineapple

I didn’t realise how tough pineapple was until this evening.

This is how my evening went… My husband and I sat down to eat our dinner and my husband suggested that after dinner we make a pineapple smoothie.

When dinner had finished my husband washed the dishes and I began to tackle the pineapple.

I sliced and cut into small chunks and placed inside my Pampered Chef batter bowl.  Using my trusty hand blend I pressed button speed 2 and snap one of the tiny blades broken on the pineapple.

This impressive hand blender reduced to nothing but a piece of unwanted rubbish.

Instead I had to use a mini blender which made an easy job much longer.

After I’d finally blended all the pineapple it was far too thick so I contemplating if to add yogurt or milk and decided that I wouldn’t open the yogurt and would add a dash of milk.

After I had tried a tiny glass and realised that the milk was a great culinary error which is most unfortunate as we normally enjoy our home made healthy smoothies.  My husband reentered the kitchen has a small glass and commented about the milk.

Not only do I need to buy a new pineapple but a new hand blender.

Happy Wednesday Friends!  🍍
