A Common Faithful

When I think of the word Faithful I often recall the song “faithful” by the singer Common in which he talks in the first verse about if God was a female would he disrespect her in that way.

Faithful isn’t just a word to be associated with marriage.  Being faithful and a person who has a truthful and loyal character is something we she all strive for.

It is however tragic to hear when people have been unfaithful within a marriage when they have failed to be loyal and true and steadfast in their relationship.

In the second verse of Commons song it says “he had a good gig, a wife, a kid, decent home.  One reason or another couldn’t find peace at home “.

Being faithful or indeed unfaithful is a choice we have to make.  We may also need to find peace in order to be faithful.

Peace doesn’t come because of the size of the house you own or the number of cars toy have parked on your drive, it is perfect and pure and true no material thing can give you peace.

In a couple of weeks my husband and I will celebrate our wedding anniversary which is always an special moment to remember the vows we made to be faithful to one another.

Married or single, man or women these are wise words worth taking a moment to consider…if your faithful in small things you’ll be faithful in the large things.  But if your dishonest in small things you will be dishonest with great responsibility…

Make it a priority to be faithful with the little that you have Relationships/Money/Job/Property and have faith that much more will be given.

Happy Saturday Friend’s!
