We all started the day early, my husband off to the gym and Tinkerbell and I got up around 6:30am. Thankfully Tinkerbell is feeling much better this morning.
After a hearty porridge breakfast I picked up a little shopping and a black forest hot chocolate from Costa as a treat for the busy day of baking and cooking ahead.
I cooked chicken and used the juices for the soup I made and the bones I added to the soup when cooking.
After making mince pies and almond cookies I stopped for a spot of lunch.
After fixing a fence panel outside and getting a thorn in my thumb I began the long ordeal of making the panettone.
After a long day in the kitchen I decided to snuggle with Tinkerbell and watch Christmas at the Kranks.
