The Christmas season is just the perfect time to begin and indeed uphold traditions.

Traditions (good and meaningful) I feel help add extra depth to the day to day route.

A tradition doesn’t have to be something which is expensive or elaborate.  It’s possible that the best traditions cost very little or nothing at all.

What’s special about traditions is that not everybody has the same and therefore they become personal to the individual and also have a magical or even secretive aspect to them.

A tradition my husband and I enjoy doing during the Christmas season is signing a religious carol or two after our evening meal.  This evening we sang ‘O come all ye faithful’ from a little Christmas carol song book.

My Christmas card includes a quote from the Grinch, which I shared a few days ago, “Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before!  What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store.  What if Christmas…perhaps…means a little bit more!”

Happy Christmas Friends! 🎄
