Kindness comes in boxes

Last week my neighbour knocked on the door to ask if I wanted some of her crafting supplies as she was going to concentrate more on jewellery and therefore wanted to make more space in her craft room.

I naturally said yes, I learnt to say yes whilst on a family holiday in Austria when I was little a family friend had asked if I wanted to take away some of the home made cream filled pastries and I had said no she replied that you always should say yes… My neighbour said that she would sort the items and bring them around in the next few days.

On Saturday my neighbour brought around the craft items.

This isn’t actually all the items one of the large boxes is out of the picture.

Tinkerbell our miniature dachshund wearing her red and white knitted jumper is sniffing the boxes in the right hand corner of the picture.

Ribbons, card, fancy scissors, punches, inks and stamps the list goes on.

I didn’t do anything to earn receiving such a costly collection of crafting items and they were given generously without anything required in return.

During the Christmas season which is nearly upon us, this really is the perfect time to show kindness without any strings attached to all those around.  Kindness is simply showing those around us that you care.

Happy Monday Friends!
