Tinkerbell and The Christmas Market

This evening we went to the first day of the German Christmas market and it was absolutely wonderful.

We arrived by train and arrived into the centre of the German Market.  Tinkerbell spent most of the train journey snuggled up between my husband and myself.

We thought that the lights that hung in a small under cover walk way were absolutely beautiful.

As with any good trip it begins with food and therefore Tinkerbell thought that it would be a good idea to get sausages!

Due to the large crowds of people Tinkerbell enjoyed a lovely carry and enjoyed looking at all the wonderful decorations.

Whilst we stopped for hot chocolate which was extremely tasty and poppy seed strudel Tinkerbell admired the carrousel.

My favourite part was looking at the nativity scene as it reminded me of the one which my home town would have out every Christmas.

Before we left to get the train back home my husband and I enjoyed some delicious chocolate.  Tinkerbell instead enjoyed just looking at them.

On the train journey back home were sat next to a lovely girl who also owned a miniature dachshund named Toby.  It is always nice talking with other dachshund owners who understand these sweet dogs unique ways.

Tinkerbell had a wonderful evening with lots of people enjoying meeting her.  A lovely way to begin properly the Christmas season.

A very Merry Christmas from Tinkerbell! 🎄
