Take the washing to dinner

For a couple of days now we have been having washing machine issues with the washing machine not spinning and the clothes coming out completely drenched.  Therefore this evening after reenacting a scene from the olden days and let me say that jeans are near impossible to get all the water out by hand we had to ask a couple of friends for help until we resolved the problem.

This evening before we went out for dinner to a lovely lady who Tinkerbell particularly likes I phoned to tell her our problem and while we enjoyed a wonderful feast she kindly washed our clothes.

What really is lovely about some of our friends is that Tinkerbell is always made very welcome which really is lovely as she is a huge part of our family and it really is nice to have her join us.

This particular friend has know Tinkerbell since she came to live with us at only 10 months old and who we actually lived with when my husband and I first got married and were house hunting and renovating the house.

After a delicious dinner we helped tidy and wash dishes before having a Christmas sing-song as our friend looked through her music book for special Church meeting.

I even decided on a date for my Christmas open house!

Happy Friday Friends!
