This afternoon I decided to do some baking for Church so that this Sunday we might simply enjoy a tasty after the service treat.
I made easy just add milk Scone’s to begin my Saturday bake off with a packet mixture. A cheats way of making scone’s.
Followed by tasty Double Chocolate Brownies.
6 tbsp margarine
1 cup of cooking chocolate
1/4 cup of hot chocolate powder
3/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
Step 1. Into a bowl I used my Pampered Chef batter bowl I added margarine, chocolate and chocolate powder, gently heat until chocolate and margarine have melted.
Step 2. In a separate bowl add sugar, eggs and vanilla. I used my hands whisk to mix the ingredients together for about 3 minutes. Then add this mixture to the chocolate mixture.
Step 3. Now add the flour and baking powder to the chocolaty/ eggy mixture and whisk.
Step 4. Spoon the mixture into a greased baking tray. I used my Pampered Chef corner piece tray.
Step 5. Bake in a hot oven until cooked and enjoy.
(I cut my brownies in half so that more people could enjoy their deliciousness.)
I then decided that I’d make Mini Banana Muffins. The recipe makes about 20 mini muffins
1 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 mashed banana
1/2 packet of chocolate chips
Step 1. Mixed all the I ingredients together lastly adding the chocolate chips.
Step 2. Spoon the mixture into each of the greased mini muffin holes again I used my Pampered Chef mini muffin tray.
Step 3. Bake until golden brown.
One reason to stay after the service.
Tinkerbell slept the whole time, can’t believe she didn’t even help!
Happy Saturday Friends!
