Indian lemonade

Indian lemonade is the perfect still drink to make on a hot Summers day. 

8 lemons
2 limes
10 mint stems
14 teaspoons brown sugar
14 teaspoons white sugar
10 cups of water


Step 1.  Gently boil the water in a large pan.


Step 2. Take the juice from the lemons and limes and add to the boiling water.


Step 3.  Add the sugar to the boiling water and stir well.


Step 4.  Wash the fresh mint and add to the boiling water cut the stems into sections and cut into the leaves to allow the flavours to escape. 


Step 5.  Continue boiling for 5 minutes and drain the leaves.  Allow to cool and then serve with ice for a perfect summer drink.
