It’s a dachshund thing

Today we (Tinkerbell, my husband and I) met with other dachshunds and their owners for a walk.

It was very sweet seeing so many dachshund dogs.  Tinkerbell is a miniature however she was even smaller than some of the miniature puppy’s.

Ask the dachshund enthusiasts gathered together with many of the dogs being very vocal.  Tinkerbell however was on her best behaviour and hardly made a sound.

Before we began the walk everyone gathered together for a group photograph.

We began the walk through a beautiful wooded area with many interesting wooden carvings of animals and interactive instruments.

About a couple of minutes into the walk my husband and I decided that we would turn around and enjoy our picnic together in the beautiful wood, leaving the group to venture on.

After our lunch we met a very lovely dog named Ruby and her owners who were a little late for the beginning of the dachshund meet and greet.  My husband and I enjoyed talking to Ruby’s nice owners and admiring their stunning long haired standard dachshund and exchanging dachshund notes!
