Having a sense of organization when in the kitchen cooking I feel helps make any cooking experience enjoyable.
This first of all really should begin with a tidy kitchen with each item of food and each individual cooking implement stored neatly having easy access at all times.
Secondly is when cooking and preparing food it is helpful to have items washed, cut and prepared ready to assemble.
Today for lunch I made venison kebabs.
I began by preparing all the various foods I would need, mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes, pickled onions, cheese and venison meat balls.
Preparation for making the kebabs allowed for the assembly to be an enjoyable and smooth process.
Washing used items when the venison kebabs were cooking allowed me to maintain a clean and ordered kitchen, rather than saving these items till after lunch.
Making the most of the time especially when foods are cooking in the oven, this time should be used wisely. After washing some items I’d used for the kebabs I made salad.
Food preparation and cooking can be difficult if preparation and proper organization isn’t observed. However when organization is present and preparation not an after thought the time spent in the kitchen can be a wonderful experience.
