Meal Planner

I really enjoy visiting stationary shops the pretty paper, pens, folders, clips the list truly is endless.

Today we visited a Paperchase shop and I bought a very useful stationary item which will help to bring order to my kitchen.

It is a magnetic meal planner that comes with a shopping list and pencil.  On the reverse of the planner it has a very large magnetic strip across the top half which is ideal to stick onto refrigerator as I have done but also with a little eyelet at the top to alternatively hang the planner somewhere in your kitchen or even office.

I find it helpful to plan in advance what I will make for dinner especially during a busy week, I currently try and do this but it will become easier to see a whole weeks worth of meals planned out.

This will also hopefully ensure that no fresh food goes to waste.

My shopping list is normally keep electronically or within my filofax, which isn’t necessarily to hand when I’m cooking in the kitchen so I look forward to the ease of the shopping list.  It will be especially useful when a food product is used during the preparation of a meal.

I’m not sure yet when I will write my meal planner.  Naturally it will be written weekly possible on a Friday evening and reevaluated on a Sunday after my trip to the supermarket on the Saturday.

A little organization really goes a long way.

Happy Saturday Friends!
