My husband and I enjoy trying different restaurant’s in particular different nationalities of food.

On Saturday evening we went to a Nepalese restaurant called Jojolapa which my husband has been wanting to try for some time now.

Nepalese food is very similar and included many of the dishes found at a Indian restaurant or at least Jojolapa did.

When it comes to ordering from a menu it’s not my strongest point I often find them confusing and so many times my husband orders for the both of us.

We started off with poppadom’s my must have favourite pre-starter.

Then moved on to the delicious starters of dumplings and fish.  The starters were traditional Nepalese dishes and treated wonderful especially the dumplings.

The main a chicken and a fish curry’s looked amazing however tasted very bland which was very disappointing.  Then chicken dish slightly more tasty than the fish but not by much.

We ended the meal with ice cream, but had to share as we were so full or at least I was.

The Indian ice cream was served with a lovely mango decorating the plate.

Time spent with my husband is always time well spent, the starters were fabulous however we probably wouldn’t won’t be back firstly because my husband doesn’t like to go to the same restaurant however we occasionally do.  Secondly the mains were lacking taste.

Not sure where our next meal will be hopefully a little more delicious than Jojolapa.
