Your Beautiful

What is beautiful and how do we judge it?  Is it a new pair of shoes, handbag or outfit?  Is it being slim, average or curvey?  Is it being petite, some where in the middle or tall?  Is beautiful having dark, red or light hair?  Is it having dark or light skin?

When I think about beautiful and what it means it’s often very difficult to make an informed opinion.

Cultures can be a big indicator of this question of what is beautiful.  Some cultures say it is lady’s with tiny feet, others say long necks and some say lighter skin.

Some girls are on a different diet every week trying to achieve a ‘beautiful’ figure others often chasing the latest ‘beauty’ product.

If what is beautiful is dictated by the culture then surely not every culture can be right.

What if the western culture had got it all wrong about what is beautiful?  What if someone who had defined western beauty had made a mistake?

Just think if it were to be possible that you had been tricked into believing beautiful was something it’s not.

Imagine if beautiful could be achieved by anyone who desired it and it didn’t involve make-up.

What if beautiful was defined by the character and heart of a person and not by someone’s appearance?
I’m not at all implying that going without washing ones self and having good oral hygiene is encouraged at all, however the condition of your heart metaphorically speaking should be esteemed over the external appearance.

Kindness, love, friendship, caring are good attributed which help to make a beautiful person.

The saying ‘beauty’s only skin deep’. Really should say beauty is deeper than the skin.

The bible says that people look at the outside appearance ( hair, clothes etc) but God look at the persons heart.

Happy Friday Friends!
