God loves his creation from the furry fluffy cute animals to the beautiful feathered birds and everything in between.
The bible says that God has man humans responsible for the animal’s. The bible also says that God cares about the animals and that we like God should care for them also.
On radio 4 as this morning I listened to the disgraceful story of Marius the baby giraffe who was killed at a Danish zoo and fed to the lions just because he didn’t meet the ‘normal’ requirements.
This story made me feel extreme sadness at how anyone could just simple kill a beautiful animal.
Zoo’s can be nice places to see animals however I don’t like the idea of cadging beautiful creature that should be living free in their own habitat’s. Defiantly not spending all day everyday alone with no companionship from other animals whilst children and adults stand by looking and often shouting at the animals.
Often I hear stories in the news or from and animal related charity pages how cruel people can be to animals and even more disgusting how people treat their own pets.
My husband and I see Tinkerbell very much as part of our family her training is going very well and she is becoming less anxious and more relaxed around people.
Tinkerbell is considered in plans we make and places we go she is not simply an accessory but a living breathing animal created by the same God who created me and the entire universe.
My husband and I daily thank God that he has given us such a beautiful little furry girl. When we look at her, especially at the mix of colours we are reminded of what an amazing God, our God is.
Thought of the week..
… I appreciate that not everyone believes in God however do try and take the time at appreciate creation and do your part in loving and caring for the animals in your care.
Happy Monday friends!
