Romantic Ramada

Yesterday my husband and I went to the Ramada hotel for a meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary.  Our wedding reception has been here so tradition dictated that we would enjoy a romantic meal together which we really did.

I wore a beautiful shalwa kameez and my husband looked very smart in his suit.

My favourite ever cloud drink is mango lassi when ordering we forget to ask for mango in the lassi so it was plain but sweet and very filling

My husband warns me every time we visit an Indian restaurant not to order a jug of lassi but instead just a glass but that never happens and normally by the end of the stater I’m full.

So with that in mind we shared a starter of chicken, lamb and prawn.  (however the starter was for 2 people, so the idea of sharing a starter failed)

The starter was delicious especially the lamb and the prawns were massive.  Often king prawns in restaurants are still rather small but these king prawns were perfect in size and taste.

Our main meal a king prawn dish for myself and an extremely hot lamb dish for my husband with naan bread and rice.

Half way through eating the delicious food which the Ramada had freshly prepared I was full and couldn’t eat another tasty thing.

My husband enjoyed a dessert before we left the Ramada.  We had a fabulous evening, it was very special taking the time to celebrate our marriage the commitment we had made to each other and the love we continue to share and the commitment we continue to uphold.

For all those who are married be very thankful for all those who have lost their love may you find comfort and for those who continue to seek may you one day find that special forever other.

Happy Sunday friends!
