Eating healthy read my blog An Apple a Day is just as important as exercising. I don’t know about you, friends but I really do enjoy exercising. For my birthday last year in October my husband bought me a mini stepper machine and I love it…stepping, stepping, up and down is what you’ll find me doing if I have a spare minute. My stepper has pressurised feet peddles so that each time you transfer your weight the opposite foot peddle comes up. It’s actually light enough to move around the house however I tend to keep it upstairs in my personal office/guest room.
Health advice suggests that 150 minutes of physical exercise each week is conducive to a healthy life style. That’s only 30 minutes for 5 days every week. You don’t have to work out at a gym to achieve the suggested requirement a brisk walk can be counted as physical exercise.
Weight- bearing physical exercise that’s exercise that you do whilst on your feet actually helps keep your bones strong.
What makes exercise even more appealing should be the scientific fact that when we exercise a chemical in the brain is realised actually making you feel happy!
Most people know that eating healthily and exercise are important and beneficial however it can often be very difficult to begin a good exercise routine and even more difficult to maintain it.
My advice would be as follows:
Set yourself an achievable goal – a 5 minute brisk walk around where you live
Look the part – Why not buy a new sports outfit, a t-shirt or trainers so that you feel and look confidant and committed.
Tell a friend – It can often be difficult to get started alone but two is better than one.
Have Fun – Exercise should be fun, the more you exercise the better you will feel.
